Upper School

The big difference a student notices when moving to Grace Upper School is that they learn from specialist subject teachers. They also enjoy facilities such as dedicated Science and Technology rooms. We do have qualified special needs and EAL teachers to support individuals who might need extra support, but our students appreciate the increased academic rigour we aim to distill as they progress through years 6 to 9.

For years 10 and 11 (English Key Stage 4) all our students study towards the internationally recognised IGCSE examinations which are now replacing "O" levels. In 2009, Grace students were entered for 9 separate IGCSE subjects: it is planned to increase the options further as the upper school expands and develops.
