Grace is oversubscribed and is growing; currently we have 220+ students from over 35 nationalities. We have 3 campuses: Early Years (aged 3-5), Primary School (aged 6-10), and Secondary School (aged 11-16). The standard contract is for a minimum of 2 years. We follow the English National Curriculum and offer orientation to those new to this system. We offer a package which enables a comfortable life-style in Bangladesh including pleasant accommodation, traveller's health insurance, free annual air-fares home and a supportive community. Applicants should be committed to the Christian faith basis of the school.

Vacancies for Summer 2012

  • Secondary English Teacher : As the specialist Secondary School/High School English Teacher, you will be leading the teaching of English at the Secondary School, so will require previous experience of teaching your subject, and inspiring your students. Students at IGCSE take English Literature and English Language. We are currently considering expanding to A levels. We teach the English National Curriculum, so ideally you will have experience of this: if not, we will ask you, with our help, to become fully conversant with using it. Teaching some drama/performing arts could also be included in the post for teachers who are interested in this area.
  • Secondary Mathematics Teacher : As the specialist Secondary School/High School Mathematics Teacher, you will be leading the teaching of Mathematics at the Secondary School, so will require previous experience and success in teaching your subject. All Students take Mathematics to IGCSE (aged 16). We are currently considering expanding to A levels. We teach the English National Curriculum, so ideally you will have experience of this: if not, we will ask you, with our help, to become fully conversant with using it.
  • Secondary Management Position : We are able to offer a management position to the right candidate. You will hold management responsibilities at the Secondary School, so will require previous experience of teaching your subject: preferably one/two of English, Drama, Mathematics, Sports or Humanities/Social Studies. All Students take IGCSE (aged 16). We are currently considering expanding to A levels. We teach the English National Curriculum, so ideally you will have experience of this: if not, we will ask you, with our help, to become fully conversant with using it.
  • Reception teacher (1 Semester) : We are looking for a short-term Reception teacher for one semester (August - December 2012) who can bring a joy of learning to a class of 18 four to five year olds. Most of the children are currently in our nursery class and already love coming to school! We have a well staffed and resourced Early Years Campus.
  • Sports Coordinator : The Sports Coordinator teaches sports, including football (soccer), basketball, track and field, and swimming, runs after school training sessions and is responsible for the school's participation in the Inter Schools Sports Programme.
